Long remaining in the shadows,
Wolfgang Seidel belongs to that constellation of German artists who, since the 1970s, have pushed electronic experimentation to its limits.
Long time collaborator of Conrad Schnitzler (Wolf Sequenza), he is one of those underground sound engineers for whom the workshop is a laboratory,
the studio a darkroom,
and electronics an organism to be dissected.
One could say that he is a sculptor of inaudible tensions,
someone for whom music only begins when the human ear begins to doubt what it hears.
To listen to Wolfgang Seidel is to follow the arc of a man who learned to sculpt electricity the way others sculpt clay.
A brief but blazing journey, traced by an artist convinced that at the end of every oscillation, another freedom is waiting.
"Modulisme," formerly "Early ElectroMIX," is a platform that aims to support original composing for analog modular systems but not only… A radio program airing music made using modular systems… Each program lasts one hour and is especially dedicated to one composer and features some exclusive music made for us.
