Ginger Radio Hour: Marilou Schultz
90.7-FM in NY's Upper Hudson Valley and wgxc.org/listen everywhere

Produced by Justin Maiman.
Artist and educator Marilou Schultz has a comprehensive new show at Bard College's Hessel Museum of Art called Replica of a Chip: The Weaving Technology of Marilou Schultz. “Whether it be her early storm patterns or her microchip designs, Marilou is a singular figure in Navajo weaving, and one who has always pushed the bounds of her medium,” says curator Candice Hopkins. Media scholar and arts writer Natasha Chuk joins Justin on the show for a detailed conversation with Marilou about her weaving.
Host Justin Maiman from Cairo shares his latest inspirations on the "Ginger Radio Hour." Live from WGXC's Acra studio, the show features music, field recordings, performances, and interviews, primarily with people in and around the Catskill Mountains of New York.
