For Columbus Day the "WGXC Afternoon Show" explores the legacy of Christopher Columbus with interviews with University of Albany Professor Kitty Pelerin, indigenous community leaders, local community members and music from hip-hop artists, Antithesis, Head-Roc, and Alixa & Naima; as well as folk singer Buffy Sainte-Marie. Compiled by Cory Fischer-Hoffman, Eli Stogsdill, Kieran Riley, Shannekia McIntosh, and Greg Osofsky. Tune in the "WGXC Afternoon Show" Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m.
