All Together Now!: Robert and Johanna Titus
90.7-FM in NY's Upper Hudson Valley and wgxc.org/listen everywhere
http://www.wgxc.org/
Produced by many contributors.
Robert and Johanna Titus are collectively known as "The Catskills Geologist" and have been writing, conducting research, and walking the trails of the Catskill Mountains for decades. As they put the finishing touches on a book that links the Hudson River School of Art with its Ice Age origins, WGXC's Justin Maiman chats with them about all the innovative and engaging ways they've taught generations about the rocks and plants around the Hudson Valley.
"All Together Now!" is a daily news show brought to you by WGXC-FM in Greene and Columbia counties. The show is a unique, community-based collaboration between listeners and programmers, both on-air and off. "All Together Now!" features local and regional news, weather updates, feature segments, and newsmaker interviews. "All Together Now!" begins with The WGXC Daily, a news roundup with local event listings. Then, there are special segments of shows about the Hudson Valley, interviews with newsmakers, and your friends and neighbors talking about local subjects. Contributors include Rob Gelles, Joe Demanso of the Catskill Makers Syndicate, Philip Grant, Tim Light, Tom Roe, Lynn Sloneker, Jack Sencabaugh, and many others. Some reports come from WGXC's partner station WOOC-LP in Troy, New York. Tune in to learn more about the issues that affect communities throughout the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley, from the Catskills to the Berkshires and beyond. Listeners can call (518) 291-9492 any time and leave a three-minute message, that may be included on "All Together Now!”. Or, if you want to get involved, email the WGXC news team at info@wgxc.org.
