Work: The Travel Edition (Audio)
Apr 10, 2013
Produced and hosted by Paul Smart.
This month, Work goes on the road. More accuratelyt: We went on vacation. Among the people interviewed about their working lives, and dreams - as well as their ideals for the future of their careers and travel plans - were members of our Italian home exchange family in Rome, a bartender at the Prince of Wales pub near Embankment and Charing Cross tube stations in London and the host's seven-year-old, jet-lagged son Milo David Smart. Sound and music elements include the Sistine Chapel and its shushing guards, Lorenzo Jovanotti, Gianna Nanninni, the comic singer Renato Carasone, The Kinks and the sounds of the Queen's Royal Horseguards during their daily changing ceremony.
