Oral Historian Suzanne Snider moderated a panel at the Hudson Opera House called Q & A The Art of the Interview. To discuss the art of the interview Snider invited three professionals from different backgrounds to discuss the importance interviews play in their own respective practices. She interviewed for Hudson Police Lt. Gary R. Wallace, currently a deputy sheriff with the Columbia County Sheriff's Dept.; Dr. Illya Szilak, a general practitioner at the Columbia Memorial Hospital; and Jennifer Karady, an artist/photographer who has been working with American veterans of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to create staged narrative photographs.
