An abbreviated form of our 4 day radio camps for folks with limited time or who wish to have a basic introduction to free radio broadcasting. During the 2 day course, held on Saturday and Sunday, participants will build a 10-watt FM broadcast transmitter from a kit and a simple antenna. At the end of the course the 10-watt transmitter may purchased at the kit cost of $200 which includes the enclosure and power supply. Ten watts is capable of covering a broadcast radius of 3 to 5 miles depending on antenna height and terrain. The 10-watt transmitter has an adjustable power level and is capable of driving higher power amplifiers for increased range. Course fee: $100
