Mike Bullock presents a concert at EMPAC, one of the world’s foremost performance venues, located on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The first half of the concert will feature solo contrabass, as well as a new sound & video piece by rise set twilight, Bullock's duo with Linda Aubry. The second half of the evening will be all about The BSC with very special guest, Pauline Oliveros (accordion). The BSC is a large improvising ensemble from Massachusetts, and that night will be: Bhob Rainey (soprano saxophone/leader), Mike Bullock (contrabass), James Coleman (theremin), Chris Cooper (guitar), Greg Kelley (trumpet), Vic Rawlings (cello, electronics), and Liz Tonne (voice).
