Artist Jane Carver presents songs from The Alan Lomax Archive, featuring a sonic spectrum from around the world: ballads, blues, work songs and lullabies. For more information, link to culturalequity.org for free access to thousands of songs and interviews, as well as photographs and writings, and to learn about how The Association for Cultural Equity, which Lomax founded in 1983, continues his legacy.

Jane Carver is the artist-in-residence at The Alan Lomax Archive and co-founder of the performance series Low Stakes at Hunter College. She sings with the Bulgarian Women's Choir, Yasna Voices. She has performed at Groundswell, The Queens Museum, The American Folk Art Museum, and St. Mark's Poetry Project, and is part of a collaborative exhibit at Transformer Gallery in Washington, D.C. in 2015.
