Catskill Cabin Getaway: Malcolm MacWatt (Audio)

In this broadcast, a conversation with Malcolm MacWatt, a Scottish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Hailing from Morayshire, MacWatt was raised listening to the folklore and music of Scotland. His love for the outdoors saw him spending much of his life as a hillwalker, snowboarder, and surfer. MacWatt worked on the offshore oil rigs. Later, as a newspaper journalist, he reported on local topics including the criminal courts and social issues. MacWatt has been releasing music since late 2018 with four albums and three EPs to date. He performs mainly on the London Folk and Americana circuit as a solo artist and with his band The Glass Mountains. He plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro and bodhran.

On each show, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them to their Catskill Cabin get-away. As Mike and Andy discuss their chosen items, it is intended that you, the listener, will enjoy getting to know each guest that little bit better. This WGXC podcast is subscribable.
