The Winter 2021 broadcast features a sonic exploration of the owls of the Hudson Valley, their extraordinary hearing and their silent flight. We revisit vibrational communicators with music made in cahoots with treehoppers by violaist Martha Mooke, and take in the ambiance of an Arctic island with from the Norwegian double bassist Sigurd Hole. Music from two different bands called owls, plus Projekt 22 & Owl and Wake Owl.
