A recording from a re-creation of Max Neuhaus' American Can, organized by the Poland-based artist Krzysztof Topolski, and perforamed by the American Can Collective, November 11, 2013 at Ohio State University. Neuhaus' American Can, was originally staged during the winter of 1966-67 in Staten Island’s Cloves Lakes Park (New York) and other locations around the city. "Participants were invented to bounce or slide the cans that carpeted the ground, though whether they were given additional and temporal guidelines is no longer known." writes Lynne Cooke in "Locational Listening" in "Times Square, Max Neuhaus, Time Piece Beacon" (2009) Dia Art Foundation, New York.
