Brian Dewan is an interdisciplinary artist who works in visual art, music, poetry, and performance. The broadcast begins with song and then features poetry accompanied by Melody Gen, a homemade instrument Dewan invented. Poet Ray'd Yo blends words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
