Mid Pennine Gallery is hosting an exhibition by artists Helmut Lemke, Lee Patterson, Ben Gwilliam, Max Eastley, Claus van Bebber, Steve Roden, Luke Fowler, Susan Matthews, Automated Noise Ensemble and Espen Jensen amongst others. This is a 4-day intensive programme of live performances, visual arts, concerts and film.
Thursday 18
6pm: Exhibition opening with live performances by Espen Jensen and Automated Noise Ensemble, free admission and refreshments
Friday 19
10am-4pm: Artists performing, producing new site-specific artworks
Saturday 20
10am-4pm: Gallery open to the public
10.30am-12pm: Workshops for young people £2
6pm: Film Screening and Live Sound performance £4 and £2, refreshments provided Performing Artists are: John jasnoch, Neil Carver, Jez Riley, Ben Gwilliam and Lee Patterson. The Documentation about the life of Cornelius Cardew and the Scratch Orchestra "Pilgrimage from Scattered Points" by Luke Fowler will be shown.
Sunday 21
10am-1pm: Gallery open to the public ˆ a chance to meet the artists
2-4pm: Closing event ˆ final live performance by L.P.G (Lemke, Patterson, Gwilliam), free admission
