Ellen Thurston discusses the Bystander Project with Lisa Dolan and Mark Brenneman. Supported by a grant from the Berkshire-Taconic Community Foundation, the Concrete Temple Theater and ten sixth graders from the M.C. Intermediate School are performing an adaptation of BYSTANDER, by James Preller. The play deals with the issue of bullying in schools, and is open to the public on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Lisa Dolan is the Literacy Coach at the M.C. Smith Intermediate School in the Hudson City School District, an organizer of the Children's Book Festival, and an organizer of the Bystander Project. Mark Brenneman is Principal of the M.C. Smith Intermediate School in the Hudson City School District.
