Beakuency: Peter Schoenberger (Audio)
On today’s episode, Mayuko speaks with Peter Schoenberger, an experienced birder and bird photographer in Woodstock, Ulster County. We don’t know in which stage of life we get the call. Peter started birding at the age 43, and his journey with the birds reminds us that life takes a mysterious path and inspires us to let the call guide our way. The interview took place in the Great Vly, a 184-acre wetland located in Saugerties, on the border of Ulster and Greene Counties.
Along with music by P.G. Six (Columbia County), Nick Drake, and Sarah Peebles’ latest release featuring bird field recordings from New Zealand.
