Lau's sound work involves the creation of improvised noise/soundscapes, using electronics and his classical training in flute. He performs in the audio/visual project [on&off] and as himself. He also live-scores silent films and other visual material in the public domain. Radio Concrete, by Hagai Izenberg, is a monthly experimental radio show focusing on sounds we’re exposed to every day in the public and domestic spheres, using field recordings, amplified and toys and live sources such as am/fm radio.
