David La Spina is a photographer born in Cincinnati, OH in 1981. After graduating from the arts-friendly Wyoming High School in 1999, he earned a B.F.A. in advertising photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005. Since 2003, he has worked as an archivist at the architectural photography firm, Esto, in Mamaroneck, NY. He completed his M.F.A. in photography at Yale University in 2009 and is a regular contributor to the New York Times Magazine.
David La Spina began photographing free103point9 events in July of 2006, as well as WGXC events. Since that time he has amassed an extraordinary portfolio of images that are invaluable to the free103point9 and WGXC archives.
