@Issue: Parry Teasdale (Audio)

Feb 04, 2015
Produced by Victor Mendolia, Debora Gilbert, and Debby Mayer.
Parry Teasdale, editor and publisher of "The Columbia Paper," spoke about the arrest of now former New York State Assembly speaker Sheldon Silver, Albany corruption and newly elected speaker Carl Heastie. Teasdale also discussed his involvement with Videofreex, a collective of artists, storytellers, and activists who produced and disseminated alternative media across New York and other U.S. communities during the 1970s. They lived in Greene County in the early 1970s and produced Lanesville TV, perhaps the first pirate television station in the United States. Produced by Victor Mendolia, Deborah Gilbert and Debby Mayer.
