Jul 09, 2016
Recorded from a live webstream from Max Goldfarb.
New Claverack Free Library Benefit. The new Claverack Library will be the venue for an early evening of traffic noise, random phrases, partygoers, and drums, a performance conducted by Bobby Previte. Hollowville resident Previte, a drummer, composer, bandleader, and improviser, has designed a piece to be performed once and never repeated. Those in attendance will garner their 15 minutes of fame by volunteering to participate in the avant garde production. The performance will be broadcast live on WGXC 90.7-FM and online at wgxc.org/listen. All proceeds benefit the library. The new Claverack Free Library is located in the former A. B. Shaw Firehouse, re-purposed into a 21st century library and community center. Information at www.claveracklibrary.org or (518) 851-7120.
