"SHE ARRIVED AMID HORSES is a radio special hosted by balona (bell-on-uh.) expect the sound of crickets, manifestos, current song obsessions, overheard poems, dollar bin tapes, and the like, with a lingering emphasis on underground musicians that defy genre and expectation.

*the title of this show comes from a repeated line in Luci Tapahanso's poem Blue Horses Rush In. i read it for the first time one night last summer falling asleep beside the river where the poem happens to take place. that night i dreamt of horses and other things i am not gonna tell you but maybe you'll hear some bits and pieces mumbling through each broadcast. there's something about radio thats  hidden in the sound of water meeting stones.
