Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century. Poet, scholar, editor, and translator Ben Friedlander is guest on this month’s program. Friedlander received his doctoral degree at SUNY-Buffalo, and is now a professor at University of Maine. He is author of "Simulcast: Four Experiments in Criticism," and numerous collections of poetry, including "A Knot Is Not a Tangle."
