The Cornelius Eady Trio is live in the Wave Farm Study Center / WGXC Acra Studio for this edition of the Friday Afternoon Show. Cornelius Eady, who will also read his poetry, is an American writer focusing largely on matters of race and society, His poetry often centers on jazz and blues, family life, violence, and societal problems stemming from questions of race and class. The Cornelius Eady Trio features guitarists Charlie Rauh & Lisa Liu who join Eady to create layered and graceful arrangements to bolster Eady's craftsmanship as a songwriter, lyricist, and poet.
