Catskill Cabin Getaway: Julie Rea (Audio)
The guest for the hour is Julie Rea, an award-winning fiction writer from Glasgow, Scotland. She is the recipient of the Scottish Book Trust Next Chapter Award and the Book Edit Writers’ Prize. She has been placed and shortlisted in many competitions, including the Bath Short Story Award, the Cambridge Short Story Prize, and the Grindstone Literary Short Story Award. Her fiction has been published in literary journals and anthologies, including ‘Gutter,’ ‘New Writing Scotland,’ and ‘thi wurd.' Rea has worked with several organizations including the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Edinburgh International Poetry Festival, and Book Week Scotland. She was nominated for The Pushcart Prize.
