This month’s edition of Poet Ray’d Yo features the local band Satan’s Black Acid, a music and poetry collaboration between Cole Heinowitz and Will Staples. Heinowitz, a Literature professor at Bard, is author of several books of poetry and translations, including Advice from 1 Disciple of Marx to 1 Heidegger Fanatic and The Rubicon; Staples is a musician and painter. Recorded for a live webstream on April 27, 2019. Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
