Christoph Cox
Christoph Cox is Professor of Philosophy at Hampshire College and faculty member at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College. Cox is the author of Nietzsche: Naturalism and Interpretation (University of California Press) and co-editor of Audio Culture: Readings in Modern Music. The recipient of a 2009 Arts Writers Grant from Creative Capital and the Warhol Foundation, Cox writes on contemporary art and music for Artforum, The Wire, and other magazines, and is editor-at-large at Cabinet magazine. He has curated exhibitions at The Kitchen in New York City, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, New Langton Arts in San Francisco, and elsewhere. He is currently completing a philosophical book on sound art and experimental music.
