Donald Drumpf Theatre: Vol. 29 Nine More Minutes. Songs and skits this week are from Peter Serafinowicz ("Sassy Trump I'm More Presidential Than Anyone But" cold open), Queen ("Bohemian Rhapsody"), Yankee Grey ("Another Nine Minutes"), Frank Sinatra ("High Hopes"), Nikita the K ("Go Go Radio Moscow"), Spike Jones ("Der Fuhrer's Face"), and Golden Earring ("Twilight Zone"). Also excerpts and clips from Donald Drumpf, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Seth Meyers from "Late Night," Anthony Atamanuik from "The President Show," Gilbert Gottfried, John Oliver from "Last Week Tonight," Charlie Rose from "CBS This Morning;" Anthony Scaramucci; Stephen Colbert from "The Late Show;" Mario Cantone from "The President Show;" Harry Ellis from "Die Hard;" Erin Burnett; Chuck Todd; Chris Matthews; The Mad King from "Game of Thrones;" Anderson Cooper; Major Garrett; Gayle King; Reince Priebus; Trevor Noah from "The Daily Show;" Lester Holt; Brian Williams; Chris Hayes; Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno from "The Tonight Show;" Joy Reid; Robert Costa; Samantha Bee; Birch Barlow, Lenny, Homer, and Sideshow Bob from "The Simpsons;" and Rush Limbaugh. An original radio theatre show each week, with most sounds culled from the previous week, about a fictional, theatrical presidency. Contradictions tell the story, with songs, skits, and clips from political news shows and late-night comedy routines. The definition of "radio theatre" is stretched here, with an updated Dickie Goodman and/or Richard Foreman-meets-mashup style sometimes, and a more straightforward take other weeks. Currently, the network has ordered another 15 episodes, but there are threats of cancellation.
