Experimental Composers: Composers Inside Electronics (Audio)

Sep 15, 2016
Produced by Clocktower Radio.

John Driscoll, Phil Edelstein, and Tom Hamilton, direct inheritors of the concepts and spirit of David Tudor, formed a group known for pioneering home-built electronics and early "Circuit Bending." In this concert, they present new and classic electronic works including Speaking in Tongues (2011) by John Driscoll for ultrasonic instruments, Rainforest I (1968) by Tudor for amplified table-top resonant objects, and a collaborative improvisation. Recorded December 2011 at Experimental Intermedia Foundation in New York.
