Tim Clifford

Tim Clifford is a sculptor whose work explores the relationship of the individual to the contemporary landscape with an emphasis on the built environment and vernacular architecture. In recent years he has completed projects at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City, New York, and for High Desert Test Sites 5, curated by Andrea Zittel, in Joshua Tree, California. His work can currently be seen as part of Ted Riederer’s NEVER RECORDS project at the Former Tower Records on Broadway and 4th Street in New York and in Hope-A-Holic at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, Staten Island. In 2001 he was the recipient of the NYFA Sculpture Fellowship.
