Oct 20, 2019
Presented by John Michelotti at The Second Annual John Cage Trust Mycology Weekend.

Writes John Michelotti, "Throughout history people have been known to utilize fungi for improving their bodies, minds, and spirit. Today we are even more aware of the benefits of fungi and the ways in which we utilize them are expanding. Let's touch upon how fungi have helped the health of the planet and the ways people have paired with them historically. We will explore research and resources of medicinal mushrooms namely Chaga, Reishi, and Lion's Mane as well as how to make tinctures and extracts. I will explain my journey with these fungi, selling extracts and anecdotal evidence from my community members. The future of fungi in health is vast as are the positive ways which fungi are already healing the planet. Learn how fungi can improve our lives, our communities, and our planet."
