Donald Drumpf Theatre: Vol. 58 Stand By Your Man. After a school shooting scatters things, our hero stands by a wife beater, his son-in-law without a security clearance, and a special prosecutor. Two skits this week from "Our Cartoon President;" and versions of the song "Stand by Your Man" by Randy Rainbow, Tammy Wynette, The Dixie Chicks, Lyle Lovett, and Motorhead with Wendy O. Williams. Clips and excerpts from Sarah Huckabee Sanders; Stephen Colbert; David Frum; Mika Brzezinski; Joe Scarborough; Sam Stein; Kasie Hunt; Lawrence O'Donnell; Stephanie Ruhle; Ali Velshi; Frontline's "Inside the Night President Obama Took On Donald Trump;" Jimmy Kimmel; David Hogg; and Emma Gonzalez. Original radio theatre, and new productions from Pacifica Radio are included here, with historic radio theatre some weeks. Currently, "Donald Drumpf Theatre" is running here every week, though that may change. "Donald Drumpf Theatre" is an original radio theatre show, with most sounds culled from the previous week, about a fictional, theatrical presidency. Contradictions tell the story, with songs, skits, and clips from political news shows and late-night comedy routines. The definition of "radio theatre" is stretched here, with an updated Dickie Goodman and/or Richard Foreman-meets-mashup style sometimes, and a more straightforward take other weeks.
