On this broadcast, we listen to the work of musicians and sound artists who meld their musicality with devotion to the natural world. The show features works on cello, piano, electronics and percussion by Julia Kent, Liam Singer, Jon Hopkins, and two Wave Farm 2023 artists-in-residence, Susie Ibarra and Lisa Schonberg. All the pieces include field recordings or are inspired by natural muses, including ants, treehoppers, melting glaciers, trees, caves, rivers and the ocean.
