Nothing Is Real Radio Hour: 20111029 (Audio)

Produced by Sam Sebren.
"Transmission Convergence with Ill-Planned Escape Route." In a unique simulcast/performance transmission showcasing two individual, yet integrated, open-ended compositions, WGXC and WMUA present a transmission convergence. Sam Sebren will be joined in the WGXC studio by Tom Roe and Brian Dewan to perform a live composition which will also incorporate the live stream of a composition being performed simultaneously at WMUA studio in Amherst by Mike Barrett. Mike will be joined in his studio with Jack Callahan, Shannon Ketch, and Christopher Blair, and they will also be mixing in the WGXC web stream into their composition. In the second half of the broadcast, Nothing Is Real Radio Hour will broadcast the composition the WMUA listeners heard, and Ill-Planned Escape Route will broadcast the composition WGXC listeners heard. In mathematics, computer science, and logic, convergence refers to the idea that a series of transformations come to a conclusion in a finite amount of time, and that the conclusion reached is independent of the path taken to get to it.
