CLOGS http://www.clogsmusic.com "Clogs are four musicians from the U.S. and Australia who compose and improvise using sounds, textures and influences from across the musical spectrum. From the immediacy of folk music, through twisted Americana to the complexity of modernism, their sound marks a new and beautifully strange stage in the evolution of 21st century acoustic-electronic music."
EXCEPTER http://www.excepter.com "Excepter is a New York vocal and freestyle electronics band synthesizing live group performance with intuitive sequencing technology. Formed in 2002 by John Fell Ryan and Dan Hougland and featuring Nathan Corbin and Jon Nicholson, Excepter is a constantly changing and self-produced social experiment in the recording arts and public address system engagement."
FERN KNIGHT http://www.fernknight.com "Fern Knight from Philadelphia, PA is an ensemble with an ever-changing lineup, fronted by guitarist / cellist and singer Margaret Wienk, who creates delicate, organic acoustic songs orchestrated by layers of accordion / harmonium / electronics drones, psych-tinged strings, canonic vocals, harp, bells and percussion and singing saw."
BLUES CONTROL http://www.myspace.com/bluescontrol "Before becoming a homeopathic dinosaur, Watersports formed the blues-rock duo Blues Control, which experienced reasonable success in the Slavic states in the later '60s and early '70s. Blues Control was molded very much on the model of Tadeusz Nalepa's Breakout, adding psych, scum rock, and new jack swing elements to a blues-rock base, and featuring a virtuosic pianist / guitarist. Like Yugoslavia's similarly minded Yu Grupa, Blues Control were prone to occasional blues-rock bombast, exhibiting a heavier touch than most Eastern European blues boom outfits."
