In the first hour, hosts George Spencer and Pauline Decarmo are joined by Peter McPartland, a musician, composer, and performer. He will talk about how he got his start in music, why he knows so much about Renaissance poets, how he was stabbed at CBGB, and more. In the second hour, a conversation with Laurence Earner. Earner grew up in Dublin and walked by James Joyce’s house every day, on his way to school. He will talk about his interest in Joyce and all things musical, and share details about his new production built around a performance of compositions by Alma and Gustav Mahler.
