On September 5, 1977, NASA launched Voyager 1 into space. 45 years later, it is careening around interstellar space and still sending data back to Earth. Aboard that spacecraft is the Golden Record, filled with popular music and a message to extraterrestrials from the people and animals of Earth. In this broadcast, some of those sounds and a remix.
