The Kids First Initiative, the Hudson Community Garden and the Hudson City School District Enrichment Initiative collaborated on this program. Basil, parsley, lavender, mint, calendula, marigold, lemon balm and kale seeds will be planted, using paper towel tubes and organic soil. Information on how to care for plants at home and ideas for using the herbs, flowers and veggies in recipes and teas. Registration is not required. Children of all ages are welcome.
