Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley gives an English class for adult speakers of other languages in Greene County. The class is headed by volunteer instructor Alex Chinea, a recent graduate of Literacy Connections’ “English Immersion” training. No pre-registration is required and there is no fee. Students should bring a pencil, a pen, a notebook, and a new three-ring binder to class. This class is open to all adults over the age of 18, regardless of income or status. This will be mainly a beginner-level class, focusing on communication and functional literacy.
