"Everyday Experts" presents talks and an information exchange at the Gazebo (on Main Street) in Chatham on four Thursday evenings from 7- 8 p.m. Thursday July 21st: Jay Rippel, Master Sergeant will talk about his experiences while stationed in Afghanistan, with Robert Bruneau (age 8) who will demonstrate his drum-playing talents and will invite the public to try his drums. Thursday, July 28: Tom Crowell of the Columbia Land Conservancy will talk about the history of two local ponds: Borden and Ooms. Then Anna Acciana -- just back from living in Uruguay for 6 months -- will talk about her experiences and offer mate, a popular hot drink in it's traditional form.
