Move Forward New York organizes a Not My President's Day Rally on the SUNY New Paltz campus (at the JFT Concourse). Attendees are asked to please bring one cardboard box by noon when we will set up a wall. During the event, we fully plan to knock the wall down - as a signal of our loyalty to the true values of the USA. This event will include passionate speakers (Debra Clinton (founder of Move Forward New York) and long-standing educator, Glenn Geher (Founding member of Move Forward New York; higher ed activitst), Brian Obach (Sociologist, expert on large-scale social unions), Ilgu Ozler (political scientist, president of Hudson Valley chapter of Amnesty International) and, Daniel Torres (Council member for the Village of New Paltz; fighter of the good fight), - along with music, chants, and inspiration by The Tin Horn Uprising - the Hudson Valley's premier protest-oriented marching band.
