The Greene County Highway Department holds a public informational meeting to discuss the proposed replacement of the County Route 6 (Spruceton Road) Bridge over the West Kill, BIN 3-30294-0 in the Town of Lexington. The County in cooperation with the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration is developing design studies for construction of a replacement bridge on a new roadway alignment adjacent to, and slightly upstream from the existing bridge. The project will start approximately 200 ft west of the existing bridge and extend approximately 300 ft east of the existing bridge. BIN 3-30294-0 is the first bridge crossing the West Kill when driving east on County Route 6.
