Protecting and Restoring New York Birds of Prey. Do you know what Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Falcons and Vultures have in common? They are part of a fascinating group of birds called raptors which have all adapted to a life of eating meat. The New York Wildlife Rescue Center will be presenting on New York’s raptors. They will give you helpful information about wildlife in the area and answer the many questions you may have about our wild neighbors. Get up close and personal with a hawk, observe an owl, and learn about the importance of our feathered friends and ways you can help preserve and protect habitats for these important predators. Please call 518-267-3313 and speak to Pamela Price to register.
