Do you appreciate folk art a la Grandma Moses? If the answer is "yes," you won't want to miss the paintings of Allen Foster. Foster has been professionally recreating Columbia County village scenes and individual historic homes for over half a century. As he nears his 90th birthday, some of Allen’s work is now on display through March 1 in the recently dedicated Meeting Room of the Kinderhook Memorial Library. Local residents throughout the county have generously loaned their paintings of Kinderhook scenes and Columbia County homes; works from Mr. Foster's private collection round out the show.
