At noon on July 13, we heard the first annual Columbia Rocks! concert at Club Helsinki presented by The Columbia County Arts and Humanities Project, a fund of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Six young singer/songwriters were chosen by audition from all the public schools in Columbia County to showcase their talent at this event. These students have spent the past week at Henry Hirsch’s Waterfront Studios honing their writing and composing skills by producing all original material.
