A screening of "Dear Governor Cuomo," the new, concert protest film directed by Jon Bowermaster. There will be a suggested donation and all proceeds go to Catskill Mountainkeeper. Filmmaker Jon Bowermaster and other guests will have a discussion and QA following the film. Few issues have created as much public debate as hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, the controversial process used for gas drilling. On May 15, 2012, a disparate group of scientists, musicians, and activists gathered in Albany for a concert and rally to convince Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to protect all New Yorkers and institute a ban on fracking. Filmmaker Jon Bowermaster was there and he created this film, which blends music and a powerful message.
