The preliminary budget for the Town of Germantown for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2012, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 50 Palatine Park Road, Germantown, where it is available for inspection by any interested person on Mondays 10 a.m.-noon, Wednesday evenings 6-8:30 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m.-noon and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1pm. Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed budget. Pursuant to Section 108, Article 8 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected officials are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor - $7,200 Councilperson - $10,400 (4@$2,600) Town Clerk - $6,600 Highway Superintendent - $50,954.00 Notice is hereby given that there will be a special meeting of the Germantown Town Board on Thursday, November 17, 2011, after the aforementioned Public Hearing on the proposed 2012 budget is held, for the purpose of discussion and approval of said budget.
