Turntablist, musician, producer, and artist Eric San, a.k.a. Kid Koala, who has DJ’d alongside the likes of Radiohead, Björk, and DJ Shadow brings a new work-in-progress to the Hunter Center after a week long developmental residency. His newest graphic novel, Kid Koala , (which San says is “about space travel and isolation and interconnectivity”) has an accompanying soundtrack. The live show he is creating around it involves the entire audience wearing headphones and viewing the show while reclining on the floor on specially designed inflatable backrests. You'll enter the performance space through a gallery of the drawings from Space Cadet.
