The Valatie Community Theatre presents “Almost Unplugged: An Evening of Acoustic Music” 8 p.m. Saturday, April 22. The event, a benefit for Valatie Theatre’s Building Improvement Fund, will feature singer-songwriters Michael O’Leary and Abby Lappen, acoustic duos Rocks and Water and Hard Luck, country singer John Parsons and classic/indie rock singer Montgomery Bopp. The event will be hosted by Marty McDermott. Additional “Almost Unplugged” events are scheduled for July 15 and October 14.
