Today we speak to author Eugene Linden about his upcoming talk "The State of the Earth, 2020" at the Carey Center for Global Good in Rensselaerville, NY. Linden is a veteran writer and journalist -- he’s the author of seven books, and for many years wrote about global environmental issues for Time magazine, as well as contributing to numerous newspapers and journals. He’s won a number of journalistic awards, including the American Geophysical Union's Walter Sullivan Award. His writing has explored the interactions of global environment, global finance, communications, and biodiversity.
