Frieda Werden is the co-founder and producer of the weekly radio series WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service, which has been in weekly syndication for more than twenty years. Werden has also served as the president of the International Association of Women in Radio and Television, on the International Board of Directors of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC), and is the recipient of the inaugural "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the National Campus and Community Radio Association of Canada.
